The Renommee is the successor to our most successful Casablanca ever, the Prestige. The Renomeee is available in two different versions, giving users a choice of specifications: - Renomee with an Intel Pentium 4 processor 3,0 GHz, 512 MB DDR-RAM - Renomee PLUS with an Intel Pentium 4 processor, 3,8 GHz, 1024 MB DDR2-RAM

In terms of rendering and processing speed, the Renommee is on a par with the current Solitaire system, whilst the Renommee PLUS is comparable to a Solitaire PLUS. Both Renommees are shipped with a 300 GB hard-drive in an exchangeable drive sled and with a Pioneer DVD burner (latest generation). Although both systems are in fact newly designed, we have decided to hang on to the popular case design of the Prestige. Software installation is possible from CD/DVD – due to this, the Renommee no longer requires a Smart Media drive. Of course, all required front and back connectors are still there. The HD sled is compatible with the Prestige – you can use your Prestige drive with the same sled in the Renommee. Casablanca Renommee is shipped with Smart Edit 5. In using the latest components, in comparison to the Prestige, the Renommee really takes off in terms of speed. The table below gives you an indication of the performance increase. It’s almost five times faster than a Prestige! This makes Renommee the ideal machine for demanding users. For HDV editing, excellent performance is elementary for comfortable, fast and fluent work.
